Day 1
Come comfortably dressed to the Church on Day 1. Whatever you are wearing when you arrive at the Stake Center is what you will be wearing all day. You will be on the bus for several hours and later arriving at the campsite. Wear clothing appropriate for a bus ride and for camping.
Day 2
Please see the "pioneer clothing" page for details about pioneer clothing and options for what to wear this day. You may want to have a change of regular clothes to put on in the evening after we are done trekking. While trekking, you will have the option of pulling a handcart through the Sweetwater River. You might want to have your flip flops or sandals in your backpack to put on just before getting into the water. Then, on the other side of the river, you could put your dry socks and shoes back on. Bring a hand towel to dry your feet off before putting your shoes and socks back on.
Day 3
Wear clothes similar to what you will wear on Day 1. We will be traveling on the bus for most of the day today.
Equipment
Sleeping pad / air mattress (No cots please)
Sleeping bag
Pillow
Tents and sleeping arrangement will be coordinated by your Ward leaders
You are only allowed to bring your backpack with you on the bus. Everything else will be stored underneath the bus. Don't bring a pillow or blanket into the bus with you. Only your backpack, and what fits inside it, will be allowed on the bus with you.
